Youth Choir Informational Session

Attention Middle and High School students!! The Music Ministry here at All Saints has a Youth Music program. We would love to have you join us. Last year our group enjoyed serving at the 11:30 mass once per month. As the numbers grow, we will increase that frequency and work towards serving special events such as Christmas caroling, Christmas Eve, and Easter masses.

My name is Kristen Cox and I am the Music Director here at All Saints. I started playing a few songs on piano for the contemporary choir at St. Mary’s in Oak Ridge when I was in the 6th grade. I was nervous, of course, but quickly became more comfortable with the flow of the mass and made lifelong friends. Most importantly, I deepened my faith and found joy in serving God with the gifts He had given me. Now I write my own music, play and sing at weddings and funerals, and get to serve God doing one of the things I love the most.

I want to help you find your own way with music in the church. If you aren’t already a musician, no problem! I am happy to help you learn. If you sing or play an instrument, I would love to talk to you about how you can serve the church with your gifts. We will have our informational meeting on September 6th at 5pm in the church with rehearsals beginning on Wednesday evenings at 5pm. Please join us!
