The Finance Committee is a consultative body composed of parishioners and is designed to advise the Pastor and Business Manager in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. The Finance Committee also works with the Pastor and Business Manager in preparing and approving the annual budget, deciding the feasibility of major capital expenditures, reviewing the operating budget, and providing financial guidance to the various Ministry chairpersons.
Upon the completion of the fiscal year, the Finance Committee prepares a summary financial statement for the parish and presents their report to the parishioners.
The Finance Committee meets appoximately six times a year. Members are appointed by the pastor and typically serve a four-year term.
