Funerals

Our parish staff and volunteers are here to help you and your family after the loss of a loved one.

Typically, the planning of a funeral happens in these steps:

1. Contact Funeral Home. We work closely with Click Funeral Home but you are welcome to use the funeral home of your choosing. 
2. The Funeral Home will contact the parish regarding scheduling of the Funeral Mass.
3. Once the Mass is scheduled, you will be contacted by your officient or parish volunteer to plan the Liturgy of the Funeral Mass.

Our goal is to make the planning of the Funeral Mass as easy as possible for you and your family during your time of grief.  We will walk with you through the entire process and help you in any way that we can.



"At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the Sacrament of the Eucharist." (Order of Christian Funerals, no. 4)

If you would like to make arrangements ahead of time for the Liturgy of your own Funeral Mass, please contact the parish office to make an appointment with a priest or deacon.
