Hope is one of the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope, and Love. They are theological in the sense that they are direct gifts from God. Father Michael Woods explores the virtue of hope, giving us new insights into the virtue itself, and describing how God himself hopes - hopes that we will rspond to his unconditional love for us, and return that love. With hope, God waits patiently for us to come to him. Father Michael also points out that hope is the proper response to the events of fifteen years to the day earlier (the presentation was on September 11) and draws parallels from our actual responses to that event on the day it happened.
