New Bereavement Ministry

After looking at our parish ministry groups and assessing potential needs, we are hoping to form a new group to personally reach out to those in our parish who are recently grieving the loss of a loved one.

Soon after the funeral, often people are alone without connections or help. We would like for this group to connect with parishioners at that time. Sending cards, making phone calls, taking meals, checking on people, and encouraging joining our grief support group would hopefully be a part of the activities of this ministry group.

Our Grief Support Group continues and if you are a member of that group and wish to help in this way, let us know!
